Our mission at Riitii is to make trip planning effortless and enjoyable by building the world’s most natural AI travel agent—one that feels as intuitive as talking to a human. By combining the power of AI, engaging travel reels, and simplified pictorial maps, we make exploring destinations clearer, easier, and more inspiring.

Our story began with a simple observation: amidst the excitement of planning family and friend vacations, we (Trip planners) found ourselves shouldering the responsibility of crafting the perfect itinerary. While others enjoyed the journey as tag-alongs, we immersed ourselves in the research, scouring travel blogs for hidden gems, meticulously mapping out routes, and ensuring accommodations were strategically located for our chosen destinations.

This often involved navigating through various travel blogs to compile lists of attractions and then mapping them out digitally. Despite our efforts, we found it challenging to integrate the captivating travel inspiration we discovered on platforms like Reel / TikTok / Shorts into our plans. While these platforms offered visually engaging content, they lacked the comprehensive information provided by traditional travel blogs. This disconnect made decision-making difficult and the planning process time-consuming due to the back-and-forth research between Blogs, Travel Reels & Digital maps.

We also often found ourselves overwhelmed by digital satellite maps and lengthy travel blogs. We longed for something more intuitive, something akin to the pictorial / illustrated / cartoon maps found at zoo entrances or amusement parks – maps that distorted reality to highlight the most important features and make exploration a breeze. These pictorial representations provided a clear sense of spatial orientation and a quick overview of what to expect, far surpassing the utility of geographically accurate but overwhelming digital maps. Inspired by this simplicity and effectiveness, we embarked on a mission to create similarly accessible and visually engaging maps for travellers seeking to explore new cities.

Thus, our journey to revolutionise travel planning with simplified maps that cut through the clutter and make travel planning easier began. And that's our story so far.
